Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce are reportedly experiencing the challenges of maintaining their relationship amidst demanding careers, with Swift expressing frustration over the limited time they spend together following their July wedding. An insider told the Daily Mail that while Swift knew the "honeymoon would be short" and "what she signed up for," she desires more quality time with her husband.

Swift, 36, has found herself spending considerable time alone since Kelce, also 36, returned to training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in late July. This separation comes after an initial period of "wedded bliss" where they were able to spend more time together, including short trips and everyday activities. "She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time - he works overtime - causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more," the insider revealed. Despite this, they reportedly see each other weekly and are dedicated to their relationship.

To bridge the distance, Swift and Kelce maintain contact through frequent phone calls, texting, and FaceTime. Kelce also sends Swift flowers, such as roses and orchids, when she is traveling. "They just deal with it. They know they both have massive careers, and they love what they do, so they give each other freedom," the source added.

While Kelce focuses on preparing for what is speculated to be his final NFL season, Swift has been actively engaged in promoting her Eras Tour documentary, which has garnered five Emmy nominations. Her promotional activities have taken her to Los Angeles, where she attended events at the Grammy Museum and pre-Emmy functions. She may also attend the Emmy ceremony on September 14, though it conflicts with Kelce's first game of the new NFL season against the Denver Broncos in Kansas City.

The couple has faced balancing demanding schedules since their relationship began in 2023, with Swift on her world tour and Kelce traveling for games. Despite this history, Swift has reportedly found the post-marriage period particularly challenging, missing shared routines like morning workouts and cooking together. "It's harder now that they are married because she wants more, for sure. It is understandable," the source stated, emphasizing Swift's desire for more time with her husband. She also cherishes feeling "loved, but also protected" by Kelce.

However, Swift reportedly refuses to complain to Kelce about his absence, understanding the demands of his career and not wishing to make him feel guilty. "She knew the honeymoon would be short so she can't complain at all, and she doesn't want to guilt Travis. That is not her deal, she never shames or complains," the source explained. Her priority is to support him in performing his best this season.

Swift is also dedicating time to her own creative pursuits, working on new music and a future documentary. She is described as being in a "very creative mode," drawing inspiration from conversations with the Haim sisters. The period has also allowed her time to "chill out in a big way," with a noticeable absence from social media and red carpets for several months.
