Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce joined friends Sunday night to celebrate Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ 30th birthday after the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the day.
Photographs and videos shared on social media showed Swift and Kelce in high spirits at the party, which was held at 1587 Prime, the steakhouse co-owned by Kelce and Mahomes in Kansas City, Missouri. Country singer Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, posted images of themselves with Swift, Kelce, Mahomes and Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, and included a clip of Mahomes blowing out a cake lit with sparklers. Kane Brown captioned his post, "Happy birthday Pat & congrats TT❤️ thanks for hosting us Britt 🙏🏽."
Earlier on Sunday, Swift attended the Chiefs-Eagles game at Arrowhead Stadium. Social media posts showed her entering with an elaborate barrier intended to shield her from view. Fans noted the different precautions compared with previous appearances at Arrowhead, where Swift has often been photographed without such measures. Kelce, 35, arrived at the game wearing a Thom Browne shorts suit and later drew attention during the contest for slamming his helmet on the sidelines in a visible display of frustration.
The birthday celebration was an early observance; Mahomes’ actual birthday is Sept. 17. Video shared by guests showed Brittany Mahomes clapping as her husband blew out candles and other attendees singing "Happy Birthday." Kelce was photographed with sports commentator Chandler Parsons at the gathering; the photo was posted by Parsons’ wife, Haylee Parsons.
Swift’s appearance at the game and the party marked the couple’s second public outing since announcing their engagement on Aug. 26. Their first appearance as an engaged couple came on Aug. 28 at Arrowhead Stadium, when Swift was photographed wearing her engagement ring while attending a college football game. Swift has also been photographed with Brittany Mahomes at other recent events, including a dinner in Nashville last month to celebrate Brittany’s 30th birthday.
At the party, Swift wore a plaid vest and miniskirt set by Simkhai, paired with high platform Gucci heels and a Chanel necklace, according to images posted online. Mahomes was dressed casually in a white shirt, black pants, a black hat and sneakers in photos shared from the event.
The gathering at 1587 Prime came after the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles earlier in the day. Social posts and photographs provided the primary public record of the evening; no official statements were released by the parties involved.
Swift and Kelce’s attendance at sporting events and high-profile social gatherings has drawn sustained media attention since their relationship became public. The couple’s appearances continue to be documented by guests and on social media, contributing to the public timeline of their engagement and subsequent outings.
