Tamzin Outhwaite has transformed into the character of Beverly for the West End production of "Abigail's Party." The actress, 55, was seen in character at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London on Monday during a photocall for the upcoming show.
Outhwaite donned a striking yellow caped dress, a voluminous blonde curly wig, and towering gold wedges to portray Beverly. She was photographed smoking a cigarette and sipping from a glass of what appeared to be 'whiskey.' The actress completed the look with a silver necklace, large hoop earrings, and bold blue eyeshadow.
The play is set in Essex in 1977 and centers on Beverly and her husband Laurence, played by Kevin Bishop, as they host a drinks party for their neighbors. A teenage party taking place next door serves as the backdrop to the evening's events.
Other cast members include Pandora Colin as Sue, Omar Malik as Tony, and Lauren Patel as Angela.
"Abigail's Party" is scheduled for a limited run in the West End from August 12 to September 19, 2026.
In preparation for her role, Outhwaite has also maintained a rigorous diet and fitness routine. She typically wakes at 6 a.m., often skipping breakfast in favor of coffee. Her mornings usually involve a Pilates or HIIT class, followed by meditation in her at-home sauna. She later walks her dogs before having a cruffin for a mid-morning snack.
For lunch, Outhwaite opts for meals at her favorite pub or cooks at home, often choosing dishes like pork belly. She aims to avoid bread and pasta, as she feels they make her sluggish. For dinner, she prepares a salad with meat and limits her alcohol intake, preferring tequila and soda, which she considers a 'cleaner' option. Outhwaite has also undergone a non-surgical facelift treatment, involving eight NeoGen nitrogen plasma facials over a year, to maintain her skin's youthful appearance.
