Tamra Judge believes her "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-star and "frenemy" Shannon Beador may be performing their tumultuous friendship for the approval of online audiences. Judge shared this perspective during an interview with Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea," suggesting that Beador might be motivated by social media engagement.

"Some people just act for the comments section of Instagram," Judge stated, implying that Beador's actions could be influenced by how they are perceived online. While Judge indicated that she and Beador are currently on amicable terms, she expressed doubt that Beador wishes for this positive state to be widely known.

"I feel like now we’re doing good, but I don’t think she wants anybody to know we’re doing good," Judge said. She further speculated that Beador might be withholding the true nature of their reconciliation to create anticipation for the upcoming 20th season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." "Unless she doesn’t want to give it away yet. It could be that, too," Judge surmised. "But I’m like, come on, they see us together and we’re photographed and we post pictures."

The friendship between Judge and Beador has historically been volatile. Their relationship significantly deteriorated in Season 18 when Judge openly criticized Beador's drinking habits following a DUI. Judge's alignment with Alexis Bellino, who had briefly dated Beador's ex-boyfriend John Janssen, further strained their bond.

Despite Judge's attempts to apologize in Season 19, Beador has reportedly struggled with trust issues, hindering a full restoration of their once-close relationship. The tension between the two continued into Season 20, following a heated argument during the filming of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th." Judge downplayed the severity of this altercation, recalling, "I didn’t think it was that bad." She added that while Beador claims Judge called her a drunk, "I don’t remember calling her a drunk… I think she called me a drunk."
