Tammy Hembrow said she began filming a candid TikTok in which she had a "crash out" but decided not to post it after she could not get through the clip without crying, the fitness influencer said in a video shared over the weekend.

The 31-year-old told viewers she would not post herself crying on social media again because of the ridicule she said often follows such moments, adding that she was concentrating on herself and her children.

"I had a bit of a crash out the other day. I started filming a full crash out video I was gonna post on TikTok," Hembrow said in the video. "But I could not get through it without crying — and there is no way that I will post myself crying on any app ever again because I'm just going to get made fun of. You can't be vulnerable online 'cause people just make fun of you."

Hembrow said she was "not giving any attention" to anyone else and stressed she was focused on feeling more like herself. "Other than that, I've been really good. I've mentioned before how much lighter I feel, how I feel so much more like me," she said. "I think that's the key thing. Every day just more and more like myself. Looking back, as well, it's crazy how much I lost myself and just shrunk and shrunk and shrunk. Never ever, ever make someone make you feel like you're not good enough. Trust me, you are."

The clip comes less than two weeks after Hembrow and Geelong Football Club midfielder Bailey Smith went Instagram official. The pair shared images from a Melbourne date at Entrecôte in Prahran that showed Smith with his hand on Hembrow's leg as they dined together.

Smith, 24, appeared to avoid the camera during the outing, the posts showed, while Hembrow wore a pink dress by Australian label With Jéan. The dinner followed several public sightings on the Gold Coast in which the pair were photographed walking arm-in-arm and sharing kisses.

Hembrow has been in Melbourne on work commitments, including attending an event for designer Sasha Therese, and told reporters this week that Smith was "a sweetie" and "a good guy."

The social media attention on Hembrow's personal life follows a public split from her husband, Matthew Zukowski. Hembrow and Zukowski, 30, became engaged in December 2023 after roughly three months of dating and married in November 2024. The couple announced they were divorcing in June, seven months after their wedding.

Zukowski has said he felt "hurt" watching Hembrow move on quickly and has suggested he was the one to end the marriage, comments that were reported after the pair made their separation public.

Throughout her video, Hembrow emphasized self-care and protecting her privacy. She said she would not expose moments of vulnerability to the same degree on public platforms, citing a fear of mockery.

Attempts to reach representatives for comment from Hembrow and Smith were not made as part of this report. The relationship and Hembrow's social-media posts remain a subject of public and media interest as the influencer continues to balance work, parenting and personal life in the spotlight.
