Singer Tallia Storm, 27, paid an emotional tribute to her late father, Sascha, after attending his funeral service on Wednesday in Switzerland. Sascha died suddenly at the age of 58.

Storm shared a series of photos and videos from the funeral on Instagram, expressing that she had "never understood the weight of grief until now." She performed at the service alongside her two brothers, Zachary and Johnny, while a gospel choir from London also performed. "My amazing Dad. There are no words to ever explain the emotions of this last week," Storm wrote in her post.

She reflected on the outpouring of messages she had received from others sharing their experiences of loss, stating, "Before this, I’d see those posts on Instagram, send a message of [heart emoji] and carry on with my day. I never truly understood the weight of that grief until now." Storm described grief as "incredibly lonely, hard to articulate & never linear" but also a reminder that "none of us are ever truly alone."

Storm noted that she had never experienced such a loss before and found it difficult to imagine saying goodbye to her father at 27. She recalled his vibrant health and presence, mentioning they were celebrating his art in Miami less than a month prior to his passing. "He was 58, glowing, healthier & fitter than ever," she wrote. "But sadly, his time came. Unfortunately far too soon."

Storm expressed gratitude to her mother, Tessa, for her strength during this difficult time, and to God for providing their family with strength. She also thanked Father Don André for officiating the service and acknowledged her grandfather Otto B Hartmann and Valentine for their support.

Her mother, Tessa Hartmann, previously announced Sascha's death on social media, describing him as "one of a kind. A true gentleman." She remembered him as an exceptional artist, composer, pianist, and a devoted father. The couple, married for nearly 30 years, had four children together: Valentina, Tallia, Johnnie, and Zachary. Sascha was also an actor and cinematographer.

Friends and colleagues, including Gabby Logan and Chloe Ferry, offered condolences to the family on social media following the announcement of Sascha's death.
