Sydney Sweeney, 28, posted a series of swimsuit photos and video from a recent birthday getaway in Utah, sharing the images Sunday in an Instagram carousel she captioned, "Little trip to mars."
The actor opened the carousel with a photo of herself standing on a rock in a black one-piece with a plunging neckline and included shots of a shimmering gold bikini, a white thong swimsuit viewed from behind and a plunging one-piece. One clip in the upload showed Sweeney riding a jet ski and releasing the handlebars with her arms outstretched; another showed her cliff jumping while wearing the gold bikini. She also posed in a cowboy hat in at least one image and wore a colorful "Happy Birthday" tiara while enjoying dessert. The Instagram post included food shots from the trip, including truffle pasta and an ice cream cookie skillet.
Sweeney, who has been promoting her latest film, Christy, turned 28 on Friday. She ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino in May after a seven-year relationship; the couple had been engaged since 2022, according to prior reports. It was not clear from her post whether anyone else in her inner circle joined the getaway.
People reported earlier this month that Sweeney has been spending time with music executive Scooter Braun, and Page Six has reported on outings the two have taken together. People said the pair spent Labor Day weekend together on a lakeside trip in California, and Page Six reported Braun became interested in Sweeney after meeting her at a June wedding. It was unclear whether Braun accompanied Sweeney on the Utah birthday trip.
Braun, 44, finalized his divorce from Yael Cohen in 2022 after splitting in 2021, according to public records and previous reporting. Sweeney has continued promotional appearances for Christy while sharing personal updates on social media.
The Instagram carousel drew attention for its variety of swimwear looks and the inclusion of candid leisure moments rather than red-carpet imagery. Sweeney has amassed a large social following since her breakout roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus; she frequently posts personal photos and glimpses of her professional projects to her account.
Additional images from the birthday upload included a shot of Sweeney in the gold bikini and a separate photo of her on a jet ski.
