Katie Price has enlisted stylist and salon director Lou Roy in a visible image overhaul that has seen the 47-year-old swap revealing stagewear for more classic gowns while relaunching her music career, and the changes come as her youngest children are reported to be returning to her care later this year.
Roy, who describes herself on social media as a mother of six and an aesthetics practitioner, has posted photographs of Price in recent weeks, saying she has been curating gowns and two-piece looks for the former glamour model during her current An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona tour. Roy wrote on Instagram that she loved a “black long number so classy” and asked followers which styles she should put on Price next.
The wardrobe adjustments were posted by Roy alongside images from a podcast appearance featuring Price and reality star Olivia Attwood, which Roy attended. In that post she thanked Price for the experience and called the day “a great experience as always in Pricey’s world,” writing that she was “really excited” to watch the interview.
The publicity push coincides with developments in Price’s family life. The Mail reported that Price’s two youngest children, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, who moved to live with their father, fitness trainer Kieran Hayler, in 2022, are due to return to live with their mother full time in November. The newspaper said Price had limited access to them after breaching a restraining order related to Hayler’s former fiancée, Michelle Penticost.
Roy has also taken credit on social media for helping to revive Price’s music profile. Price’s 2017 track “I Got U” climbed to the top of the iTunes chart last week and reached No. 3 on the Big Top 40, according to reports. Roy wrote that she had introduced Price to producers and collaborators to capitalise on that momentum and to work on further releases.
Price has posted from a recording studio with headphones on, sharing a Snapchat selfie and a link labeled “Broken,” which she presented as a new single. She has also referenced work with a producer named Rick Live. Separately, Roy said she had connected Price with a producer she named Shaye and a broader team of writers and musicians, and that recording and filming were under way. Roy described the project on social media as “truly, truly a banging tune” and urged fans to get behind the release.
Roy’s involvement in Price’s public life appears to extend beyond styling and music introductions. In addition to her work as a salon director and trainer in hair-extension application, she has accompanied Price to public events and described the pair as close on Instagram, once calling Price her “bestie” when marking the star’s birthday.
Price rose to prominence as a glamour model and later moved into television and music; she and fellow reality star Kerry Katona have been touring with a live show format that mixes conversation and performance. The recent wardrobe choices mark a departure from the more revealing outfits that long defined Price’s stage persona and signal a broader repositioning as she seeks to relaunch her music and stabilise her personal life.
Representatives for Price and Roy did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The developments underline a period of reinvention for Price that spans professional, stylistic and family dimensions, with new music and a reported reunion with her youngest children likely to be key elements of her public narrative in the months ahead.
