Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez recently surprised listeners and his fiancée, Gemma Atkinson, with a blunt question about their sex life during an episode of their podcast, "Lost In Translation."

While discussing their fitness levels, Marquez, 35, playfully asked Atkinson, 41, "Can I pipe you tonight?" The term, which Urban Dictionary defines as the act of a male having sexual intercourse with a female, prompted Atkinson to gasp, "Did you just genuinely ask me publicly if you can pipe me tonight?"

Marquez's bold question arose after Atkinson commented on their respective fitness. She stated, "You're definitely fitter than me, you're extremely fit but you should be. You're a dancer for a living. I'm a lot more flexible than you aren't I? I stretch every day, you've got to as you get older."

Marquez then winked and responded, "I stretch her out. Can I pipe you tonight?" Atkinson recalled a past instance where Marquez had asked a similar question before going out, "Can I just check before I go tonight is it pipe or no pipe?" She explained that the answer determined if he would come home. Marquez cheekily replied, "Yeah because I don't wanna come back and have to thumb in a softie."

When Atkinson attempted to steer the conversation back to fitness, stating, "I would say I'm more flexible," Marquez interjected again, "Can I check that tonight if you're more flexible?"

The podcast also touched upon domestic matters, with Atkinson expressing frustration over Marquez's particular tidiness habits. She described an instance where she had a new hob fitted after an accident, only for Marquez to notice and comment on the disorganized arrangement of pans underneath it upon his return. "These pans like this for no reason," he apparently said.

Marquez defended his preference for order, explaining it was about the practicality of accessing pans quickly and preserving new ones for specific uses, like cooking rice for paella. Atkinson humorously suggested that her children might use the paella pan for playdough, to which Marquez retorted that they should use toys instead of actual cooking utensils.

The couple, who are parents to two children, Mia and Thiago, have previously discussed various aspects of their lives on the podcast, including their kitchen organization and fitness routines. Marquez's candid comment during the fitness discussion marked a particularly memorable moment for listeners and Atkinson alike.
