Stella Maxwell turned heads arriving at the Marella Collection launch party at the private members' club Nikita in Mayfair, London, on Wednesday. The 35-year-old model wore a black satin lace dress with lace trims at the bust and hem, a draped silhouette and black fishnet tights. She completed the look with black open-toe heels, a sleek black leather jacket and a matching black clutch, while a silver-and-black cross choker and tousled blonde waves finished the styling.

For the event, Maxwell helped spotlight a capsule collection she designed with Marella. The collection will hit Marella's brick-and-mortar stores on Sept. 18. It features a blazer jacket, a bomber in dark denim or black leather, and a leather trench coat. Each piece carries an embroidered tulle label bearing the collaboration logo and a jacquard lining adorned with a star motif. Finishing touches include flowing trousers and accessories such as the Stella the Star ruched leather bag with a cracked finish, with prices ranging from £151 to £559. Maxwell has fronted the dedicated campaign, photographed on the rooftop and patio of the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel in Los Angeles.

Maxwell spoke to Women's Wear Daily, saying the styling is easy because the pieces are flexible and can be worn as full sets or mixed with jeans for a casual look: "I think styling the pieces is pretty easy because they're quite flexible pieces. You have the full-set suits that are just beautiful on their own. You can really interchange the look going out at night or you can wear it to go grab a coffee in the morning. And then the other pieces that you can mix them with jeans, you can mix them with more comfortable pieces if you want to look more casual." The campaign for the collection was shot on the rooftop and patio of the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel in Los Angeles.

Beyond Maxwell's collaboration, Marella has pursued high-profile partnerships, including an earlier 2025 collaboration with American model Emily Ratajkowski for another chic range. The brand, which operates more than 200 standalone stores and is stocked in about 1,400 multibrand retailers worldwide, has been expanding across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. Marella is also poised to open its first UK store at 8 Marylebone High Street in London this autumn, part of a broader push to widen its physical footprint as the capsule collection rolls out to stores.
