A host of Hollywood stars attended the Kering Foundation’s 4th annual Caring For Women Dinner on Thursday during New York Fashion Week, with Lauren Sanchez and Salma Hayek among the high-profile guests on the red carpet.

The black-tie event, co-hosted by Hayek and her husband, Kering CEO François‑Henri Pinault, aims to raise funds for organizations that address gender-based violence and support survivors and their families in gaining financial empowerment and independence, according to the foundation.

Lauren Sanchez, 55, arrived with husband Jeff Bezos in a strapless gold satin gown featuring a contrasting black train and a low neckline. Sanchez accessorized with a diamond necklace and matching earrings; Bezos wore a classic black tuxedo with a white dress shirt and black bow tie. The couple married in late June in Venice in a ceremony widely reported to have cost tens of millions of dollars and attended by several celebrities.

Salma Hayek, 59, who co-hosted the dinner with Pinault, wore a form‑fitting strapless black gown and minimal jewelry. Hayek, who recently celebrated her 59th birthday, has publicly discussed embracing aging and broadening the roles available to women as they grow older.

Other co‑hosts and guests included Julianne Moore, Madonna, Jessica Chastain, Demi Moore and Colman Domingo. Jessica Chastain appeared in a lavender lace gown, and attendees on the red carpet ranged from supermodel Linda Evangelista to actresses Dakota Johnson and Kirsten Dunst, as well as Georgina Rodríguez and Mariska Hargitay.

Dakota Johnson wore a sheer black lace gown with a bralette underneath. Demi Moore chose a shimmering black dress with a thigh‑high slit, while Evangelista opted for a tailored black trouser-and-blazer ensemble. The variety of looks underscored the event’s timing amid New York Fashion Week, which has drawn designers and celebrities to multiple fashion-focused appearances across the city.

Sanchez’s appearance came nearly three months after her widely publicized wedding to Bezos. In recent weeks she has shared personal posts on social media reflecting on family changes and loss, including dropping her son Evan Whitesell off at college and addressing the grief following the death of Jacklyn Bezos, Jeff Bezos’s mother. Sanchez posted on Instagram earlier this month, writing, "Sometimes the hardest work is tolerating the unknown," and also noted after the college move, "Proud. Heartbroken. Grateful." Those posts did not expand on the private matters.

The Kering Foundation dinner is the foundation’s primary annual fundraising gala in New York and has become a regular gathering for business leaders, fashion executives and entertainment figures who support the group’s work. Proceeds are intended to support programs that provide legal, psychological and economic assistance to survivors of gender‑based violence.

Organizers said the dinner helps finance grants and initiatives that promote the economic autonomy of survivors. The event concluded later Thursday evening after a seated dinner and presentations from foundation representatives and several co‑hosts.

Attendance by a broad mix of film, fashion and business figures reflected the foundation’s aim to marshal private‑sector attention and resources toward combating gender‑based violence, a goal organizers reiterated in remarks during the event.
