The event, held at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, celebrated the upcoming release of the series, which is set to premiere on Wednesday.
Leading lady Lexi Underwood, who plays a teenage Elle Woods, arrived in a plunging hot pink gown. IMAGE4 Underwood was handpicked by Reese Witherspoon to portray the character in the prequel, which has already been renewed for a second season.
"Twenty-five years after the world met Elle Woods for the first time, it's a dream come true to share the story of how she became the unstoppable force we all fell in love with," Witherspoon said in a statement. She described watching Underwood step into the role as "one of the most gratifying experiences of my career."
Underwood shared during an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" that she recreated Elle's memorable Harvard admissions video for her audition. She explained that her approach involved a "sparkly pink bikini and she goes in the hot tub" sequence, mirroring the original film's iconic scene.
The new series follows Elle Woods as she navigates high school, fashion, and personal challenges, tracing her journey to becoming the confident character known from the films. Underwood revealed she watched "Legally Blonde" approximately 150 times to prepare for the role. She also noted that many people have commented on her resemblance to Reese Witherspoon, even when she had a different hair color.
Other notable attendees included Love Island stars Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Grace Jackson. Cülcüloğlu appeared in a bardot gown, and Jackson chose a satin minidress with ruffle detailing. IMAGE1
