Wimbledon's eighth day saw a host of celebrities in attendance, with Claudia Winkleman and Sir Lenny Henry among the notable figures spotted at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The stars arrived with their partners to enjoy the second week of the tournament.
Claudia Winkleman, known for her role on "Traitors," was seen in a cream suit alongside her husband of 26 years, producer Kris Thykier. She accessorized with a clutch bag and loafers.
Sir Lenny Henry, a regular at Wimbledon, attended with his partner Lisa Makin, a theatre casting director and producer. Makin wore an outfit in Wimbledon's traditional white and green colors, featuring striped trousers and a floral jacket. Sir Lenny was dressed in a chocolate-colored suit.
Henry and Makin began their relationship in 2012, following Henry's split from his wife of 25 years, Dawn French, in 2010. The couple met during a production of Shakespeare's "Othello."
Other notable attendees included actor James Norton, who opted for a grey blazer and red tie. Katherine Jenkins returned to Wimbledon, having previously attended during the first week. She arrived with her husband, Andrew Levitas, wearing a white trouser suit.
Additional celebrity guests included Kimberley Walsh and her husband Justin Scott, Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson, TV and radio personality Clara Amfo in a neon green outfit, "Doctor Who" star Ncuti Gatwa, and Dame Prue Leith.
David Harewood was also present, dressed in a suit similar to Gatwa's.
On the court, attention was also on the remaining British players. Arthur Fery, the last British singles competitor, was scheduled to continue his campaign. He was set to face Grigor Dimitrov. Alexandra Eala, the first Filipino player to reach the Wimbledon fourth round, was slated to play Jasmine Paolini.
Other notable matches on day eight included Taylor Fritz against Alexander Bublik and Alexander Zverev facing Jiri Lehecka.
