Los Angeles became a hub for celebrity soccer fans on Thursday as many A-listers attended the U.S. Men's National Team's World Cup match against Turkey. The pre-game festivities for many involved a party hosted by Raising Cane's.
A spokesperson for the chicken finger eatery confirmed that celebrities including Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Dave Franco, and Allison Brie gathered at Lumiere at the Fairmont in Century City before heading to the match at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Following the pre-game meal, the group transitioned to the stadium, where they joined other notable figures such as Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Scottie Pippen, Blake Snell, and Puka Nacua in Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves' luxury box.
The U.S. team ultimately lost the match to Turkey with a score of 3-2. After the game, a portion of the attendees continued the celebration at another Raising Cane's event held at Snoop Dogg's Compound. This post-game gathering featured food trucks and a performance by Snoop Dogg himself.
This event marks the second time in June that Raising Cane's has been associated with celebrity attendance at a World Cup game. Previously, on June 12, Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry, Teyana Taylor, Shaboozey, and Becky G were present in the Raising Cane's suite for the U.S. team's opening tournament match against Paraguay.
The U.S. team's next match is scheduled against Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
