Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are reportedly planning to move from their Essex home, known as Pickle Cottage, to a larger eight-bedroom Victorian mansion. The couple, who purchased Pickle Cottage for £1.3 million in 2021, are seeking a bigger property to house their blended family, which includes six children.

According to reports, Solomon, 36, and Swash, 44, have recently viewed the new property and are enthusiastic about its potential. The Victorian home is described as being nearly double the price of Pickle Cottage and sits on extensive grounds. It features a swimming pool and ample garden space, along with enough bedrooms for their children.

Pickle Cottage, which has five bedrooms, is no longer sufficient for the couple and their children: Rex, Rose, Belle, Zachary, Leighton, and Harry. An insider indicated that the new house "has extra space for the kids," adding that "Pickle Cottage only has five bedrooms. They have six children and then they need a room for themselves."

The move also presents an opportunity for Solomon, who has gained a significant social media following for her interior design skills. The source suggested the new home "gives Stacey a chance to do more of her amazing DIY work as well. She has a great eye for interiors. This house needs a bit of love and work to make it the absolute dream home where they can make new memories."

Pickle Cottage has served as the setting for the couple's reality series. Solomon and Swash, who met on "I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!" in 2010 and married on the grounds in 2022, are reportedly eager to create new memories in a different home.

Solomon has previously expressed her views on interior decorating, emphasizing personal choice and self-expression. In an interview with House Beautiful magazine, she stated, "I don't think there's such a thing. It bugs me that people have an opinion on someone's house, like if there's not enough colour or if it's too garish. Why have you got an opinion on someone else's house? I don't appreciate it. Let people be free with their own homes and do whatever the hell they want."

She added, "It might not be your style and it might not be your taste, but it's not your house. I feel passionately about people judging other people's spaces. You live in that space. It has to support you in so many ways, whether that's emotionally or through comfort. Who are we to tell anyone that their space isn't what it should be?"

The couple moved into the Essex property back in 2021, but are now said to be considering an even bigger property to accommodate their huge blended family.

Stacey has transformed their home in a massive renovation project over the past few years, including giving their swimming pool a glamorous overhaul.
