Designer Zara Tisch presented her sports-inspired label, Terez, with a collection that embraced New York City's athletic spirit during New York Fashion Week. The runway show, held in Chelsea, featured apparel inspired by local teams including the Giants, Jets, Knicks, Yankees, Mets, Buffalo Bills, and NY Liberty.

Models walking the show included prominent sports partners, or WAGs (wives and girlfriends). Among them were Ali Brunson, wife of New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson; Marissa Ayers, girlfriend of Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart; and Katia Lindor, wife of Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor. For Ayers, the Terez presentation marked her second runway appearance, having previously debuted at Miami Swim Week.

Ayers expressed her enthusiasm for modeling and representing the Giants, calling the opportunity a "dream" and a "good step in the right direction to have a female-founded sports brand." She indicated plans to wear Terez outfits to upcoming NFL games.

Katia Lindor shared that her fashion experimentation intensified after her husband's trade to the Mets in 2021, finding New York to be a hub for creative expression in fashion. She noted that her gameday style ranges from dressed-up looks to casual sports attire. Lindor also expressed pride in bringing "an element of fun, fashion and chic to something predominantly male" and in highlighting women-led businesses in the sports sector.

Tisch founded Terez in 2008, driven by a personal search for stylish game-day apparel. The brand saw increased attention during the Knicks' championship season, with actress Anne Hathaway wearing Terez to playoff games. Tisch aims to elevate sportswear beyond typical fan merchandise, designing pieces intended for wear both at sporting events and in everyday life. Her designs draw inspiration from '90s streetwear for NBA lines and '70s jerseys for NFL collaborations.

Despite her family ties, Tisch initially didn't consider a fashion show until prompted by others. She acknowledged the demands of her work but ultimately decided to showcase her collection, seeing potential for a new category of fan fashion that highlights New York in a stylish manner. "This category is going to have a lot of longevity," Tisch stated. "So it's time to show the world."
