Sophie Habboo, a reality television personality from "Made In Chelsea," shared Instagram photos of herself in a bikini with her baby son, Ziggy, during a trip to Mallorca. The vacation was for the wedding of her co-star Emily Blackwell. Habboo, 31, posted the images on Wednesday, documenting her time at the beach with her six-month-old son.
The celebration in Mallorca was attended by several other "Made In Chelsea" cast members, including Tiffany Watson, Ruby Adler, Lily Ludovici, and Melissa Tattam. Blackwell was married to Jordan Oldershaw. Habboo and Blackwell have been friends since their time on the show, having previously shared a flat with Miles Nazaire.
The social media posts followed a resurfaced clip from the couple's "NewParents" podcast. In the clip, Habboo's husband, Jamie Laing, discussed their intimacy three weeks after the birth of their son. Laing recounted asking Habboo for sex, to which she responded that she was physically unable due to stitches and needed doctor's clearance. Laing expressed frustration, suggesting it was an excuse.
In response to the clip, a representative for Habboo stated that their relationship is based on equality and mutual respect. The representative emphasized that while the comments were made in a light-hearted podcast discussion, they should not be interpreted as minimizing serious issues faced by many individuals. The statement also noted that they take listener feedback into consideration.
In the podcast segment, Habboo described Laing crying and insisting their lack of intimacy was "not normal" after her refusal to have sex. She recounted his plea, stating he had "waited a year." Habboo explained her physical condition, including stitches and the demands of breastfeeding, which left her exhausted. She also recounted making Laing call a doctor to verify her statements.
Laing, 37, also posted holiday pictures on his Instagram, including some of Habboo and their son. The couple attended Blackwell's wedding reception, which followed their London wedding in May. IMAGE1
