Sonia Kruger has addressed speculation surrounding her television future, confirming she is open to pursuing career opportunities outside of Australia.

In an interview with Stellar magazine, the Channel Seven personality stated she would consider roles in Britain or the United States if suitable projects emerged. "I think you'd be crazy not to," Kruger said when asked about reports of her exploring international options. She specifically mentioned interest in guest judging spots on "Strictly Come Dancing" in the UK or its American counterpart.

Kruger's comments come amid reports that she had assembled a professional showreel aimed at international broadcasters. These reports surfaced as Channel Seven reviews its entertainment programming slate. The network has yet to confirm another season of "The Voice" beyond the current year, reportedly due to high production costs and international licensing fees.

Channel Seven has recently reshaped its entertainment offerings, with programs like "Holey Moley" and "The Voice: Generations" lasting only one season. "Big Brother," previously hosted by Kruger, has since moved to Network 10.

Despite the industry speculation, Kruger indicated that she is not planning to leave Australia permanently but is open to international expansion. She continues to host prominent Seven programs, including "The Voice" and "Dancing With the Stars."

Kruger, a Gold Logie winner, first gained recognition for her role as Tina Sparkle in Baz Luhrmann's 1992 film "Strictly Ballroom." She joined Channel Seven in 1997 and has since been a prominent figure on various shows, including "Sunrise" and "Today Tonight." After a period at Channel Nine, where she hosted "Big Brother," Kruger returned to Seven in 2019. She is reportedly one of Australia's highest-paid television personalities, earning over $1 million annually.
