Saturday Night Live unveiled the first slate of hosts for Season 51, led by Bad Bunny as the season opener on Oct. 4 with Doja Cat as the musical guest. The show returns as Bad Bunny headlines a 56-city world tour and Doja Cat promotes a new album, Vie, during the fall run.
Former SNL cast member Amy Poehler will return Oct. 11 for her second solo hosting stint and third overall appearance, with indie artist Role Model as the musical guest.
On Oct. 18, Sabrina Carpenter will host and perform as the musical guest, a setup that is expected to feature songs from her upcoming album Man's Best Friend.
Season 51 announcements come amid a year of changes for the long-running NBC sketch show, which has faced a shake-up in its cast this season but is leaning on familiar faces to anchor the premiere run.
Fans can watch new episodes of Saturday Night Live on NBC and stream them on Peacock, which offers two subscription types: Premium with ads at 10.99 per month and Premium Plus ad-free at 16.99 per month. Annual plans are available that cover 12 months for the price of 10, at 109.99 with ads or 169.99 without ads. Peacock Premium Plus is also available via Prime Video with a seven-day free trial.
Episodes stream live on Peacock beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET and become available on demand after broadcast.
The stacked hosting lineup for Season 51 reflects SNL's strategy of pairing top music and comedy talent to kick off the new year, as the show navigates changes behind the scenes while continuing its tradition of late-night sketches and musical performances.
