Six workers sustained injuries during the post-concert load-out at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday, following an Ed Sheeran performance. The Detroit Fire Department responded to a forklift accident around 11 p.m. local time.

According to reports, the equipment reportedly lost control near a vehicle tunnel as the stage was being dismantled. Of the six individuals transported to a local hospital, two were listed in serious condition and the remaining four were in stable condition. One worker, who was hit in the chest, stated the incident happened in a split second and that he had "never experienced anything like that."

One of the injured was an employee of Ford Field. The venue released a statement confirming they have initiated a full review of the incident and are cooperating with authorities and the event's production partners. They declined to speculate on the cause and expressed gratitude for the rapid response of emergency services.

Ed Sheeran's 'Loop Tour,' in support of his eighth studio album ' = (Equals),' which began in January, consists of 57 concerts. The tour is scheduled to continue on September 4 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey before concluding in December in Mexico City.
