Sir Cliff Richard, 85, has released a teaser for his 2027 calendar, showcasing a variety of playful poses and attire from diverse locations. This marks the 49th edition of the singer's annual calendar, a tradition he has maintained since the 1970s.

One notable inclusion is a tribute to his late friend, Cilla Black, who passed away in 2015. A photograph features Sir Cliff on the back of a boat adorned with the name 'Cilla,' accompanied by two glasses of champagne. The two pop stars shared a close friendship spanning approximately 50 years, beginning in the 1960s when they were both prominent figures in British music and continuing through their television careers. They were known to spend time together in Barbados, where both owned homes, and were also seen in places like Marbella.

The calendar also delves into a nostalgic theme, with one image showing Sir Cliff embracing the psychedelic aesthetics of the 1960s and 70s. He is depicted wearing a rainbow T-shirt and round, yellow-tinted sunglasses, posing in front of a collection of colorful bottles.

Another image captures the singer in a more whimsical mood, sporting a tuxedo T-shirt and holding a mug labeled 'his lordship.' The teaser images offer a glimpse into what Sir Cliff described as "wonderful times in May and June this year in various locations."

"I am delighted to be sharing these with you in my 2027 calendar, of which, I am so proud. It might be a bit early but a happy 2027 to you all," Sir Cliff stated regarding the release.

Sir Cliff Richard's calendars have a history of strong sales, reportedly amassing around £2 million since 1979, a figure that has surpassed sales by other well-known figures. His 2022 calendar was noted as the best-selling among music stars according to Calendar Club, outperforming Elvis Presley and Harry Styles. In 2023, Sir Cliff announced a departure from his tradition of posing topless for his calendars, humorously remarking it was time to "gracefully exit the Chippendales market."
