Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon and his wife, Yasmin Le Bon, recently enjoyed a sun-kissed vacation in Sardinia, Italy. The couple was photographed together on beach days and during a boat outing with friends.
Simon Le Bon, 67, was seen in red swim shorts and a white V-neck T-shirt, while Yasmin Le Bon, 61, wore a classic black string bikini. Photos showed the couple walking along the coastline and cooling off in the ocean. They were also seen on a boat, with Yasmin sunbathing and Simon helping to steer before they both swam.
The couple met in 1984, with Simon asking for Yasmin's number after seeing her on a magazine cover. Their relationship began as a friendship, blossoming into romance when they reconnected in Paris in 1985. They became engaged that year and married in December 1985.
Simon Le Bon achieved fame as the lead vocalist for the British pop-rock band Duran Duran, formed in 1978. The band rose to international success with their 1982 album "Rio," featuring hit songs like "Hungry Like the Wolf" and "Save a Prayer." Duran Duran has won two Grammy Awards and two BRIT Awards, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
The band continues to create music, releasing their song "Free To Love" featuring Nile Rodgers in April 2026. Le Bon has spoken about the continued thrill of creation he shares with his bandmates, stating in a November 2021 interview that they get the same thrill of creation that they did 40 years prior.
Le Bon expressed his deep affection for his wife in a December 2010 interview with the Daily Mirror, stating, "I wake up in the morning and for ten minutes or so I just get to look at her sleeping peacefully. That's kind of all you need to know about me... I guess I'm very lucky that I picked somebody really bloody good in the first place! She's great fun, fantastic, beautiful and we laugh all the time."
