The third season of Apple TV+'s dystopian drama "Silo" is set to premiere on Friday, July 3. Viewers eager to watch can access the new season starting at 9:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 2, as is customary for new releases on the streaming platform.

Based on Hugh Howey's bestselling book trilogy, "Silo" follows a society of 10,000 people living in an underground silo under mysterious conditions. Season 3 picks up with Juliette Nichols, played by Rebecca Ferguson, who returns with memory loss after surviving a forced "cleaning." The silo grapples with the aftermath of a rebellion and confronts a new threat.

Parallel to the present-day narrative, Season 3 delves into the past with storylines set centuries earlier. Journalist Helen Drew, portrayed by Jessica Henwick, and Congressman Daniel Keene, played by Ashley Zukerman, uncover a conspiracy with far-reaching consequences. While drawing from Howey's books "Shift" and "Dust," the season also incorporates original storylines that expand the show's universe.

"Silo" Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes. Following the July 3 premiere, new episodes will be released weekly on Fridays, concluding with the season finale on September 4.

The cast sees Ashley Zuckerman and Jessica Henwick promoted to series regulars. New cast members and characters are also introduced, particularly within the "Before Times" timeline. Among the recurring cast are Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Laura Innes, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, and Colin Hanks.

"Silo" is an Apple TV+ original series, requiring a subscription to the platform. Apple TV+ offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers and has one ad-free streaming plan available for $12.99 per month. The service can also be accessed through Amazon Prime Video for $5.99 per month or as part of a bundle with Peacock.
