Sharon Stone, 68, has revealed that her romantic life has taken a backseat, and she is currently prioritizing deeper connections over casual encounters. The actress shared in a recent interview on Mayim Bialik’s “Breakdown” podcast that she has been celibate for "quite a while now" and finds herself "kind of bored" with her sex life.

Stone explained that her priorities have shifted as she has become an empty nester. She is now seeking a "companion" rather than simply a sexual partner. "I’m just at the point where I really only want to be with someone that I care for," she stated.

The "Basic Instinct" star described this period as one she needs to be willing to be in to find what she truly desires in a relationship. "I’m a really good girlfriend, but I haven’t been a girlfriend in a long time," Stone added, reflecting on both positive and negative past relationship experiences.

Despite two marriages, Stone admitted she has not yet experienced the "great love of my life." She was previously married to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1990, and journalist Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004. She adopted her eldest son, Roan, with Bronstein in 2000, and later adopted sons Laird and Quinn.

Stone also spoke about the end of her marriage to Bronstein, stating that his reaction to her decision to undergo a bilateral mastectomy after discovering tumors in her breasts was the final straw. Although the tumors were benign and the double mastectomy was not ultimately performed, she recalled Bronstein's dismissive response as the end of their relationship.

Since her divorce from Bronstein 22 years ago, Stone has remained publicly single, with a brief mention of having previously dated rapper Nelly.
