Shanna Moakler, ex-wife of musician Travis Barker, has announced that her upcoming memoir, "Queen Risen," will include details about her ongoing feud with Kourtney Kardashian. Mokaler stated that she will share her story "in due time" in her own words through the book. She announced the completion of the memoir in February.

The former beauty queen recently appeared to make a subtle jab at Kardashian. This occurred after a video surfaced showing her three children with Barker—Landon, 22, Alabama, 20, and Atiana, 27—attending the premiere of Barker's documentary, "Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear," alongside Kardashian. Moakler reportedly commented on TikTok, "Where are her children?"

Kardashian attended the premiere without her five children: Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick, and Rocky, 2, whom she shares with Barker. Kardashian and Barker married in May 2022 and welcomed their son Rocky in November 2023.

Moakler previously addressed her relationship with Kardashian on Brittany Cartwright's "When Reality Hits" podcast. When asked about co-parenting discussions, Moakler suggested that "those women" do not engage in such conversations. She also stated that some past interactions with the Kardashian family felt disrespectful, adding, "At certain times, I felt, ‘Wow, if I had your kids, I wouldn’t be doing some of the s–t you’re doing with my kids.'"

In June 2024, Moakler expressed her feelings to People magazine, stating, "I don’t have to like the f–king Kardashians… I’m honestly sick of talking about them." She emphasized her current stance, saying, "As I stand here today, as a mature woman who’s gone through all that … I do not give a f–k what anyone thinks of me anymore. I’m proud of who I am."

Barker and Moakler were married from October 2004 until their divorce was finalized in 2008. Moakler stated there is "no major story here" regarding recent social media activity, as she frequently posts and deletes content. She indicated that she has more to share about the situation in her book.
