Former EastEnders actor Shaheen Jafargholi has impressed fans by sharing shirtless photographs on Instagram, revealing a significantly toned physique. The 29-year-old, who played Shakil Kazemi on the BBC soap for two years, underwent a notable transformation from his earlier appearance on the show.

Jafargholi's character was memorably killed off in a knife crime storyline. Eight years after his departure from EastEnders, the actor has adopted a new look, trading his buzzcut for curly hair and dedicating time to the gym. His recent social media posts, featuring him in athletic wear and showcasing his physique, have garnered positive comments from followers, with remarks including "Phoar," "gorgeous," and "Always hot."

Jafargholi first gained public attention at the age of 12 when he appeared on Britain's Got Talent, where singing was a primary ambition. He performed Michael Jackson's "Who's Lovin' You" and finished in seventh place in the series three finals. His performance was significant enough to earn him an invitation to perform the same song at Michael Jackson's public memorial service in Los Angeles.

He joined EastEnders in May 2016. The storyline surrounding his character's death was a prominent one at the time, with his on-screen funeral incorporating families affected by knife crime. Jafargholi has spoken about the importance of portraying such a storyline authentically, stating he was "honoured" and felt it was crucial to do justice to a topic that impacts many in real life.

Following his departure from EastEnders, Jafargholi transitioned to the BBC medical drama Casualty, where he played student nurse Marty Kirkby for five years. He also stars as a series regular, Saeed Masood, in the legal drama "War," a Sky and HBO co-production.
