Miami influencer Isabella Ladera has accused her ex-boyfriend, Colombian singer Beéle (Brandon López), of leaking an intimate video of the pair after their breakup, calling the disclosure “one of the cruelest betrayals I’ve lived.” Beéle’s lawyers have denied the allegation, saying he is also a victim of nonconsensual exposure and was not responsible for the dissemination of the material, which has circulated widely on social media.
Ladera, 26, said the video was private and was in the hands of only “the other person and me,” and that its release has caused “immense pain” to her and her family. She said she has retained legal counsel and rejected suggestions that the leak was a publicity stunt. "I am profoundly devastated," Ladera wrote in a statement posted by her team, adding that she has endured mockery, hate and judgment while the person she holds responsible has remained silent.
Beéle, 23, has denied involvement through legal representatives, who said their client "did not leak said material nor participate in its dissemination" and called him a victim of the "non-consensual exposure" of his private life. The singer's lawyers added that his artistic career and international reputation "rule out any motive or interest" in leaking the footage and said they would pursue legal channels to defend his rights.
The dispute comes after an on-and-off 13-month relationship that drew public scrutiny and accusation. Ladera and Beéle began dating in June 2023, and their relationship was publicly scrutinized after Beéle’s then-wife, Camila “Cara” Rodriguez, accused him and Ladera of an affair. Rodriguez posted screenshots she said showed messages arranging meetings in Miami and alleged she had been pregnant with a second child while Beéle was involved with other women.
In addition to Rodriguez’s allegations, Ladera’s former partner and father of her daughter, Puerto Rican influencer Isander Perez, asserted that Ladera had been involved with Beéle. Despite the early controversy, Ladera and Beéle made joint public appearances in September 2023. Ladera announced the relationship ended later that year, and the two said they had reconciled in March 2024 before a further split in mid-2024.
In 2024, Beéle accused Rodriguez of physical, psychological and economic violence; a Colombian judge ruled in his favor in August of that year, ordering Rodriguez to attend therapy and allowing the singer contact with his children. Rodriguez responded publicly to the ruling with a statement that she would “wait calmly” and suggested the matter would be resolved over time.
The intimate video at the center of the current dispute has been widely shared online, prompting harsh commentary from users across platforms. Ladera’s statement emphasized the personal and familial impact of the leak and appealed to other women who have suffered similar betrayals. Her lawyers publicly denied that she had any role in spreading the material.
Beéle’s legal team reiterated that he "is also a victim of the non-consensual exposure of his private life" and said they would reject "all forms of violence" while defending his rights. Both sides have signaled intent to pursue legal remedies; beyond the competing statements, no independent evidence has been publicly disclosed identifying who first shared the video.
Media outlets have sought comment from Ladera, Beéle and Rodriguez, and representatives for the parties have issued the statements noted above. The case highlights ongoing concerns about nonconsensual distribution of intimate material and the reputational and legal consequences for public figures when such content is released. Investigations and potential civil or criminal proceedings may further clarify responsibility as authorities and lawyers review the matter.
