Selena Gomez returned home after attending the Emmy Awards on Sunday to find a candlelit surprise arranged by her fiancé, record producer Benny Blanco.

Gomez, 33, posted photographs of the display on social media early Monday, writing, "Came home to a surprise my baby put together ☺️" The images show the actress standing beside dozens of candles placed around a pool; Blanco, 37, responded beneath the post, "i win an award every night (you)."

Gomez attended the Emmys in a custom red Louis Vuitton gown and later changed into a gray Louis Vuitton dress for the after-party, according to her social posts. On the red carpet and in the theater she shared candid moments with co-stars from Only Murders in the Building, including Steve Martin and Martin Short, and a brief interaction with Cate Blanchett, who was nominated for her role in Disclaimer.

Only Murders in the Building received seven Emmy nominations this year, including Outstanding Comedy Series, but did not win the top prize, which went to newcomer The Studio. Season five of Only Murders in the Building is currently streaming on Hulu, with new episodes released weekly on Tuesdays.

Gomez shared additional snapshots of the evening showing cast and crew celebrating the show's nominations. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month, she joked about the involvement of her co-stars in personal plans, saying, "Marty's the ring bearer," when asked whether they had been invited to her wedding.

Reports in July citing an unnamed source said the couple planned a two-day wedding in Montecito, California, in September with close family and friends expected to attend. The couple and their representatives have not publicly confirmed the date or details of any upcoming ceremony.

Gomez and Blanco became engaged after a period of dating and have maintained a relatively private relationship while promoting Gomez's projects. The recent social media posts follow a string of public appearances tied to the new season of Only Murders in the Building and the awards season circuit.

The candlelit arrangement and the social media exchange drew attention from fans and outlets covering celebrity culture, underscoring how performers mix public promotional duties with personal milestones. Gomez continues to promote the series while her social posts provide occasional glimpses into her private life as she balances professional and personal commitments.
