Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco are reportedly set to marry later this month in a private Santa Barbara ceremony, according to a Page Six report that cites The Sun. The outlet said the couple will say “I do” on Sept. 27 at a private estate and that guests will be kept unaware of the location until they are transported there.

Page Six reported that wedding weekend guests have been booked at the El Encanto hotel in Santa Barbara and that rooms, which the hotel lists at about $3,500 a night, are fully reserved for the final weekend of September. A source told the outlet that guests will be picked up and driven to the ceremony site without being told their destination in advance.

The report said the actual ceremony will take place at a separate private location; Page Six noted that it had reached out to representatives for Gomez and Blanco but had not received an immediate response. The wedding timing follows a period of private pre-wedding celebrations for both principals: Gomez recently held a bachelorette gathering in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she was photographed on a yacht with longtime friends, while Blanco reportedly held a bachelor party at a Las Vegas villa, a TMZ report said.

Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, announced their engagement in December 2024 after more than a year together. In a social media post at the time, Gomez shared images of her engagement ring and captioned them "forever begins now." Taylor Swift, who wrote under the post that she would "be the flower girl," has not been publicly confirmed as an attendee.

The arrangement described by Page Six — centralized hotel accommodations and secretive transport to a ceremony site — reflects a pattern of private logistics commonly used in high-profile weddings to limit media presence and maintain guest privacy. El Encanto, a luxury property overlooking the Pacific, has been cited as the lodging for guests; the Page Six report indicated that the hotel’s rooms were fully booked for the weekend in question.

Representatives for Gomez and Blanco did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to the report. The couple’s engagement and subsequent pre-wedding events have been shared selectively on social media, with Gomez posting some images from her bachelorette celebration.

The reported Sept. 27 ceremony would come roughly nine months after the pair announced their engagement. Details such as an official venue name, guest list and plans for public appearances following the ceremony have not been disclosed by the couple or their representatives as of the Page Six report.

If the wedding proceeds as reported, it will mark a highly private, closely managed weekend for the celebrities and their guests, consistent with the discreet approach both have taken with aspects of their relationship since the engagement. Further confirmations or statements about the ceremony had not been released by the time the report was published.
