Music executive Scooter Braun reportedly wants to marry actress Sydney Sweeney, according to a source. The insider suggested that Braun might propose to Sweeney within the next six months, adding that he believes she is "the modern Marilyn Monroe."
"He is trying very hard to marry her," the source told Page Six. "He is following her and chartering private planes. He’s going to stay focused on her until she marries him."
Sweeney was recently seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut. The two were photographed together in Venice, Italy, during the Venice Film Festival. They were also seen in New Zealand and Australia in July.
Braun posted a birthday tribute to Sweeney on September 12, calling her "the person who surprised me and showed me how life with true partnership can be lived." He added, "You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger. You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to."
The source indicated that Braun is also heavily involved in Sweeney's career, helping her secure a new manager. Puck reported that Braun reportedly facilitated a meeting between Sweeney and CAA agent Kevin Huvane, which led to her signing with him.
Braun and Sweeney reportedly met last year at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in June 2025. Prior to their European trip, they were seen in Los Angeles with Braun’s children: Jagger Joseph, Levi Magnus, and Hart Violet.
A source previously told Page Six in September 2025 that Braun’s merging of romance and business was likely, stating, "Any restraint in the relationship probably won’t last long when it comes down to his urge to market everything. He’ll start posting [about her], he’ll probably get more involved in her career."
Braun finalized his divorce from Yael Cohen in 2022. Sweeney was previously engaged to Jonathan Davino before their reported split in January 2025.
