Former "Neighbours" star Scarlett Vas announced on Wednesday that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Tayo Ricci. The couple shared the news on Instagram, with Vas debuting her baby bump in a video that also featured their 19-month-old daughter, Silva, and ultrasound images.
Vas, who played policewoman Mishti Sharma on the Australian soap opera from 2017 to 2018, captioned the post, "We couldn’t keep this a secret any longer…"
Scarlett and Tayo met as teenagers in Melbourne. Their parents began dating, leading Vas and Ricci to become stepsiblings. Despite their familial connection, they eventually fell in love and married in 2023 on the Greek island of Mykonos.
The actress recently shared details about her wedding day, recounting how strong winds caused her layered dress to split open, revealing her underwear and leading guests to believe she had arrived without clothing. "Everyone thought I had 'gone naked' to my wedding, but it was just the wind which had blown up all the layers, so it looked like I was wearing nothing at the bottom," she told news.com.au.
In September, the couple had announced their first pregnancy with a video showing a positive test result and ultrasound scans. The video, captioned "Baby Ricci. Our Christmas Miracle," also revealed they were expecting a baby girl.
Vas has since become an OnlyFans model, and has stated that she and Ricci share content on the platform. She told the "Uncensored Podcast" that she is among the top earners on the site, with her best month bringing in nearly $200,000 and projected to exceed that figure in the current month. "I mean the fans love us as like a thing or not a thing. He's my stepbrother and Australian and we've known each other for a very long time," she said about their dynamic.
