Scarlett Moffatt showcased her baby bump while wearing a heart-print dress during a recent evening out with fiancé Scott Dobinson and their three-year-old son, Jude. The TV personality, 35, shared images on Instagram, including one where she kissed Dobinson.
Moffatt and Dobinson, who have been a couple for over seven years, are anticipating the arrival of their second child together in the coming weeks. Moffatt recently shared a montage of photos documenting her pregnancy journey. She joked in a social media post that she was in her third trimester but was not letting it stop her from enjoying herself, with photos showing her cradling her baby bump, partying with Dobinson, and their son eating ice cream.
Fans reacted positively to her posts, with comments including "Go for it Scarlett you look amazing" and "Absolutely gorgeous."
Moffatt expressed her happiness about welcoming another son, noting that it comes after a four-year period of trying to conceive their first child, Jude. She told the Daily Mail that she and Dobinson have already discussed having a third child. "Because it took us so long to have Jude and we were just so grateful that we had Jude, we honestly didn't know if a second child would ever happen for us," she said. "But actually, it happened pretty quickly for us. So I was like maybe we could have a third child. I wouldn't say no. I always craved that big family energy and I just love it. I'd have 10 if I could!"
She also commented on the speed of her current pregnancy, stating, "I actually can't believe how quick it's gone this time around." Moffatt also shared her perspective on the transition from one child to two: "I keep thinking though, girl math, surely the transition from none to one is harder than one to two because we already sort of know what we're doing."
Moffatt announced her pregnancy in April, stating at the time that she felt she was "born to be a boy mum." She told The Mirror that her preference was for a boy to give Jude a brother, though she emphasized that a healthy baby was the most important outcome. "I'm just so happy for him. He's got someone to share his life with now," she said.
The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram with a video showing them holding an ultrasound image. In the caption, Moffatt wrote, "We honestly can't believe we're writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he's going to be a big brother. And if there's one thing we know for certain, it's that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible."
