Pregnant Scarlett Moffatt has shared glimpses into her third trimester, proudly showcasing her baby bump.
Moffatt, 35, and her fiancé Scott Dobinson are expecting their second child, a son, who will join their three-year-old son, Jude. The television personality shared photos on Instagram that included her cradling her bump and enjoying social activities.
"Third trimester but apparently I’ve mistaken it for a social season, looking like a hard boiled egg ain’t gonna stop me from having a good time lol!" Moffatt posted to her followers. The accompanying images depicted her with Dobinson and their son, Jude, enjoying an ice cream.
Fans responded positively to Moffatt's posts, with comments such as "Go for it Scarlett you look amazing" and "Absolutely gorgeous."
Moffatt has spoken about the challenges of conceiving their first child, Jude, which took four years. The news of a second pregnancy was met with immense gratitude.
"We honestly can't believe we're writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing," Moffatt wrote on Instagram when announcing the pregnancy in April. "One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he's going to be a big brother. And if there's one thing we know for certain, it's that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible."
She also expressed a desire for a large family, stating, "It's actually something that we keep chatting about already. Because it took us so long to have Jude and we were just so grateful that we had Jude, we honestly didn't know if a second child would ever happen for us. But actually, it happened pretty quickly for us. So I was like maybe we could have a third child. I wouldn't say no. I always craved that big family energy and I just love it. I'd have 10 if I could!"
Moffatt noted that this pregnancy has felt quicker than her first. She also shared her preference for having another boy, wanting to give Jude a brother. "All my family and friends knew I wanted another boy," she said. "Of course it would've been wonderful to have had a girl – a healthy baby is all that matters – but my preference was a boy, to give Jude a brother. I'm just so happy for him. He's got someone to share his life with now."
