Saturday Night Live is set to return for its 52nd season on Saturday, September 26, at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The upcoming season will feature a slate of well-known hosts and musical guests for its initial four episodes.
Jalen Brunson, the NBA champion, is scheduled to host the season premiere, with KATSEYE performing as the musical guest. This marks Brunson's first appearance as a host on SNL. Following the premiere, Dakota Johnson will host on October 3, accompanied by musical guest Turnstile. October 10 will feature Shane Gillis as host and Rosalía as the musical guest.
After a two-week hiatus, the show will resume on October 31 with a Halloween episode hosted by Inde Navarrette, who is making her SNL hosting debut. Gracie Abrams is slated to perform as the musical guest for the Halloween episode.
While Brunson is new to the SNL hosting stage, Johnson and Gillis are returning for their third hosting duties. Musical guests KATSEYE and Turnstile will also be making their SNL debuts, while Rosalía and Gracie Abrams are returning performers.
For viewers seeking entertainment before the new season begins, Saturday Night Live UK will premiere its second season on September 12, with Jeff Goldblum hosting and CMAT as the musical guest. This episode will be available to stream on Peacock for U.S. viewers on September 13. Goldblum has prior experience hosting the American version of SNL, having done so in 1993 and 1998.
All episodes of SNL Season 52 will be available to stream live on Peacock concurrently with their broadcast on NBC. Past seasons, including the entirety of Season 51, are also accessible on the streaming service.
