Sabrina Carpenter was among the notable guests at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which took place at Madison Square Garden on Friday. Amidst anticipation from fans, many had speculated that Carpenter might serve as one of Swift's bridesmaids. However, the couple reportedly opted to forego a traditional bridal party.
Swift's brother, Austin, fulfilled the role of 'man of honor,' while Kelce's brother, Jason, served as his best man. Carpenter was seen leaving the venue in the early hours of Saturday morning, wearing a black lace veil. She was observed in conversation with an unidentified companion as her car departed.
Carpenter and Swift have developed a close friendship in recent years. Carpenter previously opened for several legs of Swift's Eras Tour, and the two collaborated on the title track of "The Life of a Showgirl."
Guests at the celebration received personalized favors. Maren Morris shared on Instagram that the couple provided guests with handkerchiefs featuring a custom wedding logo with intertwined 'T's, the date July 3, 2026, and the location, New York City. The handkerchiefs also included the opening lyric from Swift's 2014 song "Blank Space": "So it's gonna be forever..."
Attendees at an intimate rehearsal dinner for approximately 100 guests also received velvet gift boxes. These boxes were embossed with the couple's monogram and reportedly contained champagne flutes adorned with diamonds and a card printed with an image from the couple's engagement photos.
Details from the ceremony were shared by AMC CEO Adam Aron, who later deleted his account of the event. He described the vows exchanged by Swift and Kelce as "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing." Aron also noted that Madison Square Garden was decorated in peach and white, Swift wore a white gown with a long veiled train, and Kelce wore a white tuxedo. The couple sealed their vows with a kiss.
