Rufus Jones, a cast member of the Disney+ comedy series "Rivals", has married Philippa Allam. Jones, who portrays MP Paul Stratton, the onscreen husband of Sarah Stratton played by Emily Atack, confirmed the marriage in a civil ceremony held last week.

Photographs shared on Instagram on Tuesday showed Allam in a white satin and lace dress, complemented by yellow heels and a bouquet of pale yellow-green blooms and purple sprigs. The couple's twin daughters were also featured in the images, dressed in white with floral headbands and carrying small bouquets.

Jones appeared in a cream suit with an open-neck white shirt and cream loafers. The couple displayed their wedding rings, described as colorful hoops. Allam announced the ceremony on Instagram, writing, "We did it @rufusjones1." Jones also shared a black-and-white wedding photo on September 6, accompanied by a caption thanking well-wishers and photographer Jim Field Smith.

Following their wedding, the couple traveled to Spain to attend the wedding of Jones' "Rivals" co-star Emily Atack, who is set to marry Dr. Alistair Garner for a second time in a ceremony in Mojácar. Jones shared a selfie from southern Spain on Friday with the caption, "Southern Spain, you absolute horndog."

In other "Rivals" news, Disney+ announced that the second half of the series' second season will be available starting November 11. The first part of season two concluded with a cliffhanger. The synopsis for the upcoming episodes teases tragedy, scandal, and betrayal as the battle between Venturer and Corinium intensifies, with characters facing the consequences of ambition, power, and secrets.

The series, based on Dame Jilly Cooper's novel series "The Rutshire Chronicles," has been renewed for a third season. The cast includes Alex Hassell, David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Bella Maclean, Danny Dyer, and Katherine Parkinson.
