Romeo Beckham is fronting Burberry's Winter 2026 campaign, marking his return to the luxury fashion house 12 years after his first appearance in their advertising generated accusations of nepotism.

Beckham, now 24, was unveiled on his birthday in the new campaign, for which he modeled a plum purple leather jacket and matching check jeans. This latest role is understood to have been secured independently, without assistance from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

The campaign photoshoot took place in London, with the River Thames, Tower Bridge, and the Houses of Parliament serving as backdrops. Beckham was joined by singer FKA Twigs and other models. Burberry's chief creative officer Daniel Lee stated that FKA Twigs and Romeo Beckham "represent the energy that makes London unique."

Beckham's initial involvement with Burberry was in 2014 when he was cast in their Christmas campaign at age 12. At the time, fashion executives expressed frustration that then-CEO Christopher Bailey selected the son of his close friend Victoria Beckham for the role. Despite the controversy, the younger Beckham was praised for his performance in the advert, which depicted him as a cupid delivering a gift.

This is not the first time a Beckham child has faced scrutiny over their involvement with the brand. In 2016, Brooklyn Beckham photographed a Burberry fragrance campaign, which also drew criticism from experienced photographers who felt it undermined professional training and skill.

Earlier in 2026, Romeo Beckham walked in Burberry's Autumn/Winter show at London Fashion Week. His mother, Victoria Beckham, paid tribute to him on his birthday via Instagram, highlighting his "biggest smile and even bigger heart" and the "incredible young man" he has become. His father, David Beckham, also shared a birthday message, expressing pride in his son's character and personality.
