Roger Daltrey Embarks on Farewell Tour with Remaining Dates Available
The Who frontman is playing his final solo shows through early October, with tickets still accessible for select dates.
Roger Daltrey, the iconic frontman of The Who, is currently on his farewell tour, dubbed "A Great Night Out." The tour has seven remaining concerts scheduled to conclude on October 3.
Before concluding his solo performances, Daltrey has three dates scheduled in the New York area. These include a show on September 22 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, followed by a performance on September 27 at Town Hall in New York City, and concluding on October 2 at the Tilles Center Concert Hall in Brookville.
For fans eager to see the 82-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer perform what may be his last solo shows, last-minute tickets are still available. As of September 22, the lowest ticket price found was $30, including fees, for a show in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Tickets for his Town Hall performance in New York City start at $97, including fees.
"Well, it’s one more for the road," Daltrey stated. "After finishing The Who’s final tour of the US it’s time for me as a solo artist to possibly do the same."
According to Setlist.fm, Daltrey typically performs between 16 and 20 songs per concert. His setlists often feature classic Who hits such as "Baba O’Riley," "Won’t Get Fooled Again," "Substitute," "Squeeze Box," and "Who Are You." He also includes covers of songs by artists like Neil Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Paul Simon, Leo Sayer, and his bandmate Pete Townshend.
Reviewers have described Daltrey's solo shows as "an utterly wild and somewhat woolly affair, filled with humor, expletives, minor mistakes, massive highlights and, most importantly, a feel that is very much different than a regular Who show." The performances are noted for featuring a large band that provides folksy, yet powerful arrangements.
Daltrey's tour band includes Simon Townshend on guitar, Billy Nicholls on mandolin, Jody Linscott on percussion, Doug Boyle on guitar, John Hogg on bass, Katie Jacoby on violin, Steve Weston on harmonica, Geraint Watkins on keyboards and accordion, and Scott Devours on drums.
Fans looking for other classic rock acts on tour in 2026 may also consider performances by Ringo Starr, Robert Plant, Patti Smith, Graham Nash, and Art Garfunkel. Stevie Wonder is also touring, performing his 1976 album "Songs In The Key Of Life" in its entirety.
