Sir Rod Stewart, 81, has become a grandfather for the sixth time following the birth of his grandson, Levi Rhodes Kalick. Ruby Stewart, 39, announced the arrival of her second child with fiancé Jake Kalick on Instagram on August 4, 2026.
Levi was born at 6:58 p.m., weighing 9 pounds and measuring 20 inches. Ruby described Levi's name as meaning "My Heart" and stated that his arrival has "grown our hearts to 10 times the size." She added that seeing her elder son, Otis, meet his new brother was one of the greatest experiences of her life.
Ruby's mother, former model Kelly Emberg, who dated Stewart in the late 1980s, was pictured cradling the newborn alongside his paternal grandmother. Ruby and Jake are also parents to their three-year-old son, Otis. Stewart's half-sister Renee, and fiancé Jake, were among those who shared congratulations online.
Ruby first revealed her pregnancy in April, sharing photos of her baby bump at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. She has previously performed with her father and released music as part of the country duo The Sisterhood.
In related news, Stewart's half-sister Kimberly, 46, also welcomed a child last year, though she had not previously been seen publicly with the baby. Kimberly shared a selfie on social media holding her youngest child, whose face was obscured by a blue heart emoji. She has previously spoken about her love for motherhood, expressing how much she cherishes her daughter, Delilah.
