The Rockettes will celebrate their 100th anniversary with an expanded season of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, opening Nov. 6, 2025, at Radio City Music Hall and running through Jan. 4, 2026, the producers announced. The season will include more than 200 performances of the 90-minute production and a slate of onsite activations marking the troupe’s centennial.
Tickets for the 2025 run are available now, with secondary-market prices starting at roughly $83 including fees for some performances and a range of $85 to $285 reported for other seats. The production company said the schedule includes multiple daily performances at peak periods and a full calendar of shows between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day.
The centennial Christmas Spectacular will present nine numbers across its 90-minute running time, combining elements of jazz, tap and ballet, according to Playbill. Classic sequences including “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and “The Living Nativity” will appear alongside staging introduced in recent years, including a Santa Claus–themed scene added in 2024 set to Jerry Herman’s arrangement of “We Need a Little Christmas.” Producers said the season will also feature immersive activations in Radio City’s public spaces and a traditional meet-and-greet opportunity with Santa.
The Rockettes trace their origins to 1925 in St. Louis, where choreographer Russell Markert organized a precision-dance troupe then known as the Roxyettes for performances at the Missouri Theatre. In December 1932, Samuel “Roxy” Rothafel, a Radio City Music Hall advisory board member, brought the ensemble to New York to help launch the landmark venue’s opening, establishing a relationship with Radio City that endures. The centennial celebration marks 100 years since the troupe’s founding in St. Louis, not the 1932 Radio City debut.
Producers said the 2025 schedule will generally offer weekday and weekend performances in the weeks preceding Thanksgiving, with many days featuring four shows at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., though schedules will vary. Beginning with Thanksgiving week, the production will present shows every day through the early January closing date. The full calendar of dates and start times is available through Radio City’s ticketing channels and authorized sellers.
Industry coverage of the lineup and staging cited Playbill’s reporting on the show’s musical and choreographic elements, while ticket availability and price ranges were reported by the New York Post. Organizers cautioned that prices and availability can change and recommended purchasing through official ticketing partners to confirm seating and performance times.
Over the decades, the Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular have become fixtures of New York’s holiday season and have toured the country in various incarnations. The centennial season seeks to underscore that legacy with extended performance dates and commemorative programming at Radio City Music Hall, where the troupe has long been associated with holiday tradition.
As part of centennial activities, Radio City will stage additional onsite tributes to the Rockettes’ history. Details on special events, alumni appearances or anniversary programming beyond the nightly performance were limited at the time of the announcement; organizers encouraged fans to monitor official Radio City channels for updates and ticket releases.
The centennial run is scheduled to conclude Jan. 4, 2026. Organizers said season offerings, showtimes and ticket prices are subject to change and advised patrons to confirm performance details when purchasing tickets.
