Robert Irwin, 22, played coy when questioned about his current relationship status while arriving at Sydney Airport on Wednesday. The television personality and conservationist, who is set to host the upcoming Logie Awards, opted to keep his personal life private.
Arriving ahead of the Sunday night ceremony, Irwin swapped his signature khaki attire for a more casual streetwear ensemble, including a light hoodie, grey shorts, and sneakers. He accessorized his look with an NFL cap, a black crossbody bag, and sported a hint of facial hair, lending him a more rugged appearance.
When asked by the Daily Mail about the presence of a significant other, Irwin stated, "Yeah, well, I keep that pretty private. Everything with my personal life."
Irwin's personal life has been a subject of public interest in recent months, with fans frequently speculating about his romantic entanglements. He was previously linked to Rorie Buckey, with their relationship ending in February 2024 after making their red carpet debut in July 2023. Reports at the time suggested that Irwin's mother, Terri, may have influenced the breakup.
Since his split from Buckey, Irwin has also been rumored to be romantically connected with photographer Ashleigh Scully, American actress Xochitl Gomez, and Australia Zoo staff member Charlotte Briggs. However, he has not confirmed any of these rumored relationships.
Irwin is preparing to host the 2026 TV WEEK Logie Awards, scheduled to take place at The Star Sydney. He expressed enthusiasm for the hosting role, noting, "I'm well prepared. The adrenaline's already at a high! I'll be hitting the dance floor at the after-party."
The Logie Awards will be broadcast on Channel Seven at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
