Robbie Williams surprised locals in Seville, Spain, on Monday by joining a busker in a spontaneous rendition of his 1997 hit song "Angels." The unexpected performance took place in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, specifically in the Plaza de Santa María La Blanca.
A video clip shared online shows Williams, dressed in a black outfit and baseball cap, singing along as the busker plays guitar. This impromptu musical collaboration occurred the day before Williams' scheduled performance in the city, following his sold-out show at the Live is Live festival in Antwerp, Belgium.
Williams, 52, is currently undertaking a European tour that will extend to Australia and New Zealand. The singer is also known for his strong ties to football. He recently served as a potential good luck charm for the England team, sharing a video on Instagram with his wife Ayda where he debated his game-day attire ahead of a match. His support for English football also extends to League Two club Port Vale, where he is a lifelong supporter. Williams' initials are featured on the front of the club's home and away shirts for the next two seasons, and he holds the position of Honorary President, having become an ambassador for the Port Vale Foundation. He also had input on the design of the club's kits for the 2020/21 season.
