Actor Rob Reiner has received a posthumous Emmy nomination for his performance in the FX series “The Bear.” Reiner was nominated Wednesday for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Albert, a businessman and restaurateur, in the show's fourth season.
This nomination follows the tragic deaths of Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, in December 2025. The actor was previously honored during the 98th annual Academy Awards in March 2026, where he was remembered in the In Memoriam segment. The tribute featured over a dozen stars from his filmography, and was introduced by Billy Crystal.
“The Bear” received a total of eight nominations for the upcoming awards ceremony.
