Singer Rita Ora is taking advantage of a break in her European tour schedule to enjoy a sunny escape on Spain's Mediterranean coast. Ora, 35, was seen cooling off with a swim in the sea during a heatwave, opting for a two-tone animal-print bikini paired with a red bandana.
Ora's European tour has seen her performing at various outdoor festivals and venues. Last weekend, her scheduled performance at the Gozo Festival in Malta was canceled due to a severe thunderstorm. Explaining the situation on Instagram, Ora stated that her equipment was left on stage during the storm and was damaged. "All my band, my monitors, my wires, everything is completely fried," she explained, apologizing to fans for the cancellation.
Earlier in the week, Ora made a trip to Los Angeles with her husband, director Taika Waititi. The couple attended the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants: Wicked Wonderland," where they were seen displaying affection on the red carpet. Ora wore a sheer fishtail gown for the event, a style that paid homage to her Descendants character, the Queen of Hearts.
Looking ahead, Ora has a series of upcoming performances scheduled in Switzerland, Austria, Finland, and Hungary.
Ora has previously spoken about her career plans, telling the Daily Mail last month that she has been using the current year as a "building year." She indicated that releasing new music is a priority and that she has been involved in filming two movies in Australia. Ora also expressed a desire to collaborate with her husband on one of his films, stating, "It all has to be about the script, the story and it just has to make sense but that is one of our dreams."
Ora and Waititi, who have been married for nearly four years, are due to celebrate their anniversary in August. When asked about their celebration plans, Ora mentioned their spontaneous nature, attributing it to their astrological signs, with Waititi being a Leo and herself a Sagittarius. "We do things so last minute," she said.
