Ringo Starr, 86, was seen with his wife of 45 years, Barbara Bach, 79, during a dinner engagement in Malibu on Tuesday. The Beatles icon sported longer hair and a fuller beard, a departure from his appearance during his time with the band.
The couple, who married in 1981, attended the restaurant Tra di No with a group of friends. The outing occurred on the 64th anniversary of Starr's joining The Beatles. Bach, known for her role as Anya Amasova, Agent XXX, in the 1977 James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me," arrived with her husband, dressed in a cream jacket and purple trousers.
Starr and Bach first met on the set of the film "Caveman" in 1979. They divide their time between homes in London, Los Angeles, and Monte Carlo. Before her acting career, Bach was a prominent model, gracing the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Elle.
The couple navigated personal challenges, including a serious car accident and battles with addiction, before seeking rehabilitation together. They have since embraced a lifestyle focused on outreach work and vegetarianism.
Starr has three children from his previous marriage to Maureen Cox: Zak, Jason, and Lee. Bach has two children from her marriage to Italian industrialist Augusto Gregorini: Francesca and Gianni.
In related news, The Beatles are slated to be the subject of a series of biopics directed by Sam Mendes, scheduled for release in 2028. The films will feature Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and will chronicle the band's rise to fame. Starr and Paul McCartney recently collaborated on the song "Home to Us," featured on McCartney's new album. Starr confirmed the collaboration, noting the song began with drums recorded in reverse and was inspired by their shared Liverpool upbringing.
