Thomas Skinner was captured on Ring doorbell footage outside the home of a woman who says she had a months-long affair with him and later exposed his marriage, according to an interview and material published by the Daily Mail.

The footage, obtained by the Daily Mail and shown to the woman, Amy‑Lucy O’Rourke, 35, shows Skinner, 34, at her doorstep for about a minute and a half as she refuses to open the door, the report said. O’Rourke told the paper she ended the relationship in July 2022 after discovering Skinner’s marriage to his wife, Sinead, was not the sham he had described to her. The Mail also published text messages that O’Rourke said Skinner sent after the relationship ended, and other video clips of the pair together.

In the doorbell footage, Skinner is seen making gestures at the camera, knocking and shouting at an upstairs window while O’Rourke tells him to leave. The Daily Mail reports that, after telling him her son was asleep, O’Rourke left the doorstep and struck the windscreen of Skinner’s parked Mercedes 4x4, an action shown on the video and described in the interview.

O’Rourke told the Daily Mail she began the affair in the summer of 2022, a few weeks after Skinner married in May. She said Skinner had told her his marriage was one of convenience and that he was unhappy; she said she later realised that account was untrue and ended the relationship. O’Rourke said Skinner told her she was “the love of his life” and sent late‑night messages including “Good night, beautiful.” She described him as having behaved like a boyfriend during their time together, cooking for her and fixing her car.

Skinner has publicly downplayed the relationship. In an interview with The Sun on Sunday published separately, he called it a “two‑week fling,” saying he woke up “feeling absolutely terrible” and that he had told his wife. The Daily Mail report quotes O’Rourke disputing that account, saying she was the one who informed Sinead of the relationship and that Skinner continued to send messages calling her a “crazy lady” and “insane” after she ended the liaison.

Skinner rose to public attention on the BBC reality series The Apprentice in 2017 and is scheduled to make his debut on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, a further increase in his public profile. The Daily Mail report notes that O’Rourke, an aesthetician and mother of one who lives near Brentwood, Essex, provided the footage and messages to the paper.

The parties published conflicting narratives about the scope and duration of the relationship and who informed Skinner’s wife. The Daily Mail included short videos of the pair together that O’Rourke said undermined Skinner’s description of the encounter as a one‑off mistake. In one clip, Skinner is shown fashioning a rose from a napkin and joking that he felt “kidnapped.”

Neither the Daily Mail report nor the material supplied to it included any police statements. The footage and messages were presented to the newspaper and form the basis of O’Rourke’s account. Skinner’s comments to The Sun and the Mail constitute his public responses to the allegations; representatives for Skinner and for the BBC did not immediately provide further comment to the Mail story.

The episode raises questions about personal conduct among public figures as they move between reality television and mainstream entertainment. Skinner has cultivated a public image as a gregarious businessman and family man since his Apprentice appearance, and his scheduled appearance on Strictly has thrust those private allegations into the public arena.

The Daily Mail is the outlet that published the footage and interviews. The Sun on Sunday reported Skinner’s version of events in a separate interview. The BBC has announced its upcoming series schedule but has not commented on the allegations described in the Daily Mail article.
