Rhian Sugden showcased the results of a breast reduction and uplift while celebrating her 39th birthday in Palma, Spain, posting a photo in a plunging animal-print swimsuit to her social media accounts.

The former glamour model, who underwent surgery in June, has said the procedure has eased pain and made everyday activities such as swimming and buying swimwear easier. She posted before-and-after clips in recent weeks and thanked the surgeon she credited with the work, writing that the outcome involved "no implants, just a reduction and uplift."

Sugden has previously described chronic backache, difficulty finding supportive bras and problems with mobility that she attributed to the size and position of her breasts after childbirth. In a social media video before the operation she said her nipples had been about 11 centimetres lower than she wanted and that large cup sizes made shopping and exercise challenging. She said the surgery would be "literally going to change my life."

After the operation she posted updates describing increased confidence and improved ease while swimming, saying her figure was more "streamlined". She also shared that she was "never felt happier" and expressed satisfaction with the appearance and size following the procedure. Sugden named the clinic and surgeon involved in her posts and acknowledged the change in cup size reported in her social updates.

Sugden said she received critical messages after revealing the surgery and addressed some of the negative comments in an Instagram Story, calling out unwanted commentary and saying she was unconcerned about scarring. She added that much of the online criticism came from people who would not be personally affected by her decision.

Her husband, actor Oliver Mellor, was reported to have been apprehensive prior to the surgery because he valued a larger bust and worried about scarring. Post-operatively, Sugden said he told her she looked like Pamela Anderson because of the perky result and that he was pleased with the outcome.

Sugden first rose to public attention as a glamour model and has continued to maintain a public profile on social media, where she documents personal milestones and lifestyle moments. Cosmetic breast reduction and lift procedures are commonly sought for functional as well as cosmetic reasons; patients often cite relief from back and shoulder pain, improved ability to exercise and greater ease finding clothing as motivations.

Her recent posts come amid continuing public debate about cosmetic surgery and social media disclosure. Sugden's accounts combine personal commentary, before-and-after imagery and responses to followers, and the recent swimsuit post coincided with her birthday celebration in Spain.

Sugden's social media material shows a sequence of images and videos tracing the period before surgery, her recovery and her current state; she has framed the operation as improving both physical comfort and confidence. She did not disclose clinical details beyond timing and credited her surgeon in captions accompanying the imagery.
