A British reporter spent a week "living the life of Jennifer Lopez" at Regnum The Crown, a new luxury resort in Antalya, Turkey, describing an experience built around private service, celebrity-style amenities and a reported nightly rate of about £3,000 for the resort’s top suites.

The resort, which opened this summer, has become a draw for international stars after hosting Jennifer Lopez for her 56th birthday while she was on tour. Hotel staff told the reporter Lopez used many of the resort’s facilities during her stay, including the whirlpool, water park and on-site restaurants, and celebrated with family and touring dancers in a private downstairs area of the property.

The reporter said the top-tier suite included sweeping sea views, a large walk-in wardrobe, personalised bedding and robes, two large flat-screen televisions and a complimentary minibar that staff restocked daily. Personal butlers were part of the service: the reporter described staff who delivered drinks on roller skates, polished sunglasses poolside and provided near-constant attention.

Hospitality staff also described the star’s drink preferences. "She was great, I was with her during her stay making the drinks, she wasn't very adventurous though with her cocktails, she loves a white Russian, I made lots of them," a head cocktail bartender said. The reporter tried the drink at the bar and said it had become a signature taste of the week.

Regnum The Crown markets an extensive roster of facilities. The property’s water park includes some 20 slides and is private to hotel guests, and guests can take a private golf cart to the sister property, Regnum Carya, next door. The resort advertises VIP helicopter transfers, a private beach with designer boutiques and beach clubs, paddleboarding and jet-ski access, and a rooftop infinity pool that faces the Mediterranean.

Fitness and leisure options range from a rooftop gym with sea views to pilates and yoga classes, beach volleyball, a bungee fit program, and more unusual activities such as aqua pole dancing and aqua swim. The complex also includes multiple swimming pools, a whirlpool, poolside DJ sets and Broadway-style evening shows when no headline performers are scheduled.

Regnum The Crown says it offers 343 suites and 15 villas and more than 30 dining venues, including bakeries and fine-dining restaurants. The reporter ate across several venues and noted frequent room service and private dining options; hotel staff said Lopez marked her birthday with an exclusive celebration and later performed a free concert for resort guests at the Pearl Event Area.

Hotel representatives and insiders identified other names who have visited or performed at sister properties in the group, including Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, Tom Jones and Christina Aguilera. The resort has also attracted social-media personalities and reality TV figures who posted from the property, increasing its profile as a celebrity destination.

Family amenities include a 7,000-square-meter kids club with a Princess spa, slime-making workshops, gymnastics, a dedicated cinema, LEGO playroom and a mini kitchen workshop. Outdoor family attractions range from an open-air amphitheatre and adventure park rope bridges to Ali Baba’s Farm, where children can feed goats and handle small animals under olive trees.

Golf facilities include two courses, and the resort’s materials say the 18-hole course is the only fully floodlit one in Europe, allowing play after dark. Spa services span gold-leaf facials to volcanic stone massages, and the Zen Garden hosts guided meditations, according to the property.

The reporter said the resort’s mix of service and spectacle made for a different kind of holiday rhythm: high-energy poolside parties and family activities by day, followed by intimate fine dining and staged entertainment in the evening. The hotel’s staff portrayed the Lopez visit as both private and celebratory, with private dining and butler service during downtime and a large, hotel-hosted event for the birthday.

Booking information and rates for Regnum The Crown are available on the hotel’s website. The reporter concluded that while not every guest would replicate a celebrity itinerary, elements such as personalised service, extensive family programming and a wide range of activities are central to the resort’s appeal.
