Rachel Stevens made her first public appearance since announcing her split from Dancing On Ice professional skater Brendyn Hatfield when she attended The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2025 on Friday morning.

The former S Club 7 singer, 47, arrived looking upbeat in black wide-leg trousers, a fitted blazer and stiletto heels. She posted images of the event on social media, writing: "What a lovely morning @theststyle beauty awards. Got some great tips on all the top hot products and ended the afternoon with a picante. What a great way to end the week!"

Stevens and Hatfield, 40, were partnered on ITV's Dancing On Ice in 2022 and went public with their relationship in November 2023. Several outlets reported that the couple parted ways earlier this month. Stevens has shared a series of reflective social media posts in recent days that included messages about "poor behaviour, gaslighting, boundaries, unkindness and manipulation," and broader posts about self-worth and setting boundaries; she said some of the posts were "not aimed at anyone in particular."

A friend told The Sun that the pair had "drifted apart and are struggling to reconcile their blended family," and said both parties had concluded there was "no way forward." The friend said Stevens had spent time in Marbella with her two daughters to get some space, while Hatfield and his young son had moved out of the family home into a flat. The friend added that there remained "a lot of affection" but that tensions around blending their families had been difficult.

A series of Stevens's posts included lines such as "Everything happens for a reason... Every lesson is guiding you closer to your purpose" and "One of the best boundaries you can have is simply not letting other people's energy bring down your emotions." She also wrote about being "grateful for everything that forced me to love myself more."

MailOnline and other outlets have reported on the split; Daily Mail said it had contacted representatives for both Stevens and Hatfield for comment. There has been no formal statement from either party confirming the specific reasons for the breakup.

Stevens rose to fame with pop group S Club 7 in the late 1990s and early 2000s and later appeared on Dancing On Ice as a celebrity contestant. Hatfield is a professional skater who partnered Stevens on the ITV show. Their relationship and family arrangements had attracted media attention since they went public, and recent reports indicate they have been trying to navigate the challenges of a blended family while maintaining privacy for their children.

At the beauty awards, Stevens's cheerful appearance and social media posts suggested she was focusing on work and wellbeing amid the reported personal changes. Representatives for Stevens and Hatfield did not provide additional comment to media outlets at the time of publication.
