Rachel Stevens made her first public outing since splitting from Dancing On Ice professional skater Brendyn Hatfield when she attended The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2025 on Friday, a Daily Mail report said.

The former S Club 7 singer, 47, arrived looking relaxed and upbeat in black wide-leg trousers and a fitted blazer, and posted photographs from the event with the caption: "What a lovely morning @theststyle beauty awards. Got some great tips on all the top hot products and ended the afternoon with a picante. What a great way to end the week!"

Stevens and Hatfield, 40, were paired on ITV's Dancing On Ice in 2022 and went public with their relationship in November 2023. According to media reports, the couple parted ways earlier this month. Daily Mail also reported that Stevens had recently shared a series of reflective social-media posts containing messages about boundaries, self-worth and not tolerating "poor behaviour, gaslighting, boundaries, unkindness and manipulation," though she said the posts were "not aimed at anyone in particular."

A friend speaking to The Sun described the split as "incredibly sad" and said the pair had "drifted apart and are struggling to reconcile their blended family." The friend said Stevens had taken a recent break to Marbella with her two daughters for "much-needed headspace," and that Hatfield and his young son had moved into a flat. The friend added that both remained affectionate and that the couple had no regrets, but that tensions in trying to make a blended family work had become difficult. "They never want to row in front of the kids who remain their priority," the friend said.

Stevens's social-media messages included longer reflections on resilience and self-worth. Excerpts published by outlets said she wrote: "Everything happens for a reason... Every lesson is guiding you closer to your purpose. So when life feels heavy, pause, breathe and remember: There's meaning to this..." She also posted that "one of the best boundaries you can have is simply not letting other people's energy bring down your emotions" and urged followers to know their worth.

Daily Mail reported that representatives for Stevens and Hatfield were contacted for comment. There was no indication from those reports that Stevens's posts were directed at Hatfield.

The couple's relationship first attracted attention when they worked together on Dancing On Ice; the programme brought them together professionally in 2022 and they confirmed their romance the following year. Sources close to both individuals said they continue to focus on their children during the separation.

Stevens's appearance at the beauty awards marked her first public engagement since the reports of the split, and she appeared to be in good spirits at the morning event.
